About the British Association of Electrolysists

What is the BAE?

The British Association of Electrolysists was founded and registered as a non-profit making organisation in 1956 and has a large number of members spread throughout the UK and overseas.

It aims to give the general public information on permanent hair removal and to provide a sound, reliable electrolysis service through its registered members.

To gain membership the Associations examining board assess students who have completed the required training and successful candidates become Associate Members. They then spend further time gaining experience. Working to strict BAE standards and depending on a successful final practical assessment they are granted full Membership.
